delilah for many months/weeks has suffered from an extremely itchy ear, that occasionally causes her to drag her head around on the floor in order to properly scratch her ear.

i was growing concerned because i knew this couldn’t be normal, but i thought maybe it was just dirty (cause it did have some nasty biz in there), but i had my concerns that the clumps were blood. i told my mother of the concern, and she told me to wait a week and then take her to the vet (so that she could help me with cost).

however, when my friend meg came over, i had mentioned the ear issue, and she promptly called her mother who is a veterinarian.

long story short, her mother is sending me up a lovely wonder drug – it’s a cream that is an anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and an anti-fungal. i can’t wait to start treatment (not just cause of the irritation for delilah, but also cause her ear smells really bad now).
